Small business continues to grow in America with more than 23.5 million operating today. SCORE offers free business counseling and mentoring and nearly 7 million people have participated in services offered by SCORE nationwide. Volunteers provide confidential advice, free of charge on the fine points of business planning, accounting and marketing, and all the various topics critical to starting and operating a business.

Champlain Valley SCORE Chapter 284 provides SCORE services in western Vermont with branches in Rutland, Middlebury, and St. Albans serving those areas. Our office is in Essex Junction and our 40 (and growing) counselors live in the various communities throughout our service areas.
